Pedestrian Critically Injured in Hit-and-Run Accident on Bear Valley Road
VICTORVILLE, CA (July 8, 2019) — A pedestrian was airlifted following a hit-and-run crash on Bear Valley Road on Sunday, July 7.
At around 8:45 p.m., emergency personnel responded to a hit-and-run crash in the 15200 block on Bear Valley Road, west of Balsam Avenue.
San Bernardino County Fire found the victim and requested a helicopter to land at Desert Valley Hospital.
Paramedics airlifted the victim with life-threatening injuries to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center.
A local news source described the suspect vehicle as a large dark-colored BMW SUV. They reported that the vehicle drove westbound on Bear Valley.
The pedestrian was as a Hispanic male adult wearing a red shirt with a large mustache and goatee.
Officials shut down the two westbound lanes of Bear Valley Road just west of Balsam Avenue during the investigation.
