Horrific Pedestrian Accident on Yosemite Avenue Led to Tragedy [Madera, CA]

Madera, CA (February 15, 2024) On Tuesday evening, a tragic pedestrian accident on Yosemite Avenue claimed a person’s life.

According to the Madera Police Department, the deadly collision happened at about 8:30 p.m. at the intersection of B Street and Yosemite Avenue.

Authorities say that a person crawled out onto the intersection at the crosswalk, then a vehicle struck the person.

Reports say that the pedestrian suffered injuries and was transported to the hospital, where the person succumbed to the injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Officials say that the driver and witnesses remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.

Police are investigating the fatal auto-pedestrian crash and have not released additional information at this time.
