Tragic Pedestrian Accident on Alessandro Drive Kills 1 [Palm Desert, CA]

Palm Desert, CA (May 6, 2023) On Thursday afternoon, a pedestrian accident on Alessandro Drive left a person lifeless.

According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, the fatal auto-pedestrian collision happened at about 5:45 p.m. at the intersection with Portola Avenue.

Reports say that a vehicle struck and injures a pedestrian at the intersection. Medics transported the pedestrian who suffered serious injuries to a hospital, however the person succumbed to their injuries and later died at the hospital.

Meanwhile, officials say that the driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene and cooperated with officials.

Deputies are investigating the fatal auto-pedestrian collision.
