91-Year-Old Man Injured in Hercules Pedestrian Accident
HERCULES, CA (August 12, 2019)– Monday morning, a car struck a 91-year-old man in a pedestrian accident on Hercules City Hall.
Authorities reported the accident occurred at about 7:30 AM near the intersection of Sycamore Avenue and Civic Drive.
Per reports, the victim was crossing from north to south Sycamore Avenue when he was struck by a vehicle. Also, the car was identified as a 2006 Chrysler Sebring being driven by a 21-year-old man.
Medics arrived shortly after. They found the victim on the ground with visible head injuries as a result of the crash. He was airlifted to John Muir Medical Center for further medical evaluation. However, their has been no update on his medical condition.
In addition, officers do not believe drugs and alcohol were contributing factors.
Furthermore, there has been no information released at this time as investigations continue.
