SAN DIEGO, CA (November 25, 2019) – A man sustained serious injuries after a pedestrian accident on Clairement Mesa Boulevard.
 
The incident occurred on November 23, just after 6:00 p.m. in the 4500 block of Clairemont Mesa Boulevard at Genesee Avenue, according to San Diego Police Officer Robert Heims.
 
“An unknown male pedestrian in his 40s stepped off the curb and into traffic for an unknown reason. After that, a Ford F-150 mid-block hit the victim on Clairemont Mesa Boulevard,” Heims added.
 
Medical responders transported the man to a hospital with life-threatening head injuries.
 
Authorities ruled out DUI and drugs as a factor in the collision.
