Mary Baumgardner Fatally Struck in Palmdale Hit and Run on State Route 138 and Avenue W
PALMDALE, CA (March 25, 2021) – Wednesday night, Mary Baumgardner, 35, died in a pedestrian crash on State Route 138 and Avenue W.
According to California Highway Patrol, the fatal incident claimed the life of a pedestrian.
Moreover, it happened at around 7:30 p.m., in the area of State Route 138 and Avenue W.
Moreover, responders pronounced the Pearblossom woman dead at the scene.
According to CHP, Baumgardner walked southbound across the eastbound lanes of the highway when she hit by a 2019 Ford Fusion. As a result she was thrown into the westbound lanes where she was struck by another car that fled the scene.
The incident is under investigation.
