Late Afternoon 3-Vehicle Wreck on Highway 138 in Pearblossom Leaves One Motorist Injured
PEARBLOSSOM, CA (November 26, 2018) – One person was injured following a three-vehicle collision late Monday afternoon in Pearblossom.
The collision happened around 5:37 p.m. on Highway 138 at Longview Road.
According to the CHP, a black pickup truck, a white Hyundai SUV, and a third vehicle were involved, causing heavy traffic on the highway.
Los Angeles County Fire Department officials responded to the scene and reported that the driver of the Hyundai was injured in the accident. An ambulance unit was immediately dispatched and transported the patient to a hospital with unspecified injuries.
Both eastbound and westbound lanes of Highway 138 were shut down while crews cleared the wreckage.
Details surrounding the collision were not made clear in the reports and media releases. The incident is under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
