Cahuilla Avenue Hit-and-Run Crash Kills 58-Year-Old Man
Desert Hot Springs, CA (August 25, 2022) – On Wednesday, Paul Nava, a 58-year-old Desert Hot Springs resident, was fatally struck on Palm Drive.
The authorities responded to the accident scene past 8 p.m. at the intersection with Cahuilla Avenue.
When they arrived, the responder provided life-saving measures to the victim until CalFire and EMS crews arrived. However, Mr. Paul Nava succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
The investigators say a southbound sport utility-type vehicle struck Paul Nava as he was crossing the roadway.
The vehicle did not stop and continued driving away from the scene.
