PHOENIX, AZ (November 6, 2023) – Saturday morning, Paul Lopez died in a tragic single-vehicle crash on 83rd Avenue and McDowell Road.

Reports said that the incident happened at around 8:30 a.m. on 83rd Avenue and McDowell Road.

According to the Phoenix Police, a southbound car veered into the raised median for still unknown reasons and struck a tree.

Moreover, responders pronounced the driver of the vehicle, 51-year-old Lopez, dead at the scene. Then, paramedics transported a child who was sitting in a car seat, to a hospital with unknown injuries.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
