LAKEPORT, CA (May 30, 2018) – Two people were injured early Wednesday morning after a vehicle rolled over on Lakeshore Drive. The driver, 25-year-old Paul Durbin of Nice, was allegedly under the influence of alcohol at the time of the incident.

The Lake County sheriff’s deputies spotted a visibly wounded Durbin at a nearby gas station, where he was immediately arrested. Durbin was booked into the Lake County Jail on suspicion of felony drunken driving causing injuries and felony hit‑and‑run, with a bail amounting to $50,000.

Durbin’s passenger received medical treatment from responding emergency teams and was released shortly after the crash. Their identity was not immediately released. No further information was disclosed to the public at this time.
