Patrick Taylor Killed in Martin Luther King Boulevard Collision [Houston, TX]

Houston, TX (August 24, 2023) – At about 8 p.m. on Sunday, 55-year-old Patrick Taylor was killed in a hit-and-run collision on 9400 Martin Luther King Boulevard.

Investigators said Patrick Taylor was either on the sidewalk or close to it when a white Chevrolet struck him. Houston Fire Department declared him dead at the scene.

Officers said that after getting the temporary license plate off the Impala, the driver left the crash scene in another vehicle. The authorities said they don’t have information about the make or model of the second vehicle.

The authorities are looking for Donte Smart. They said Smart’s belongings were located in the inoperable Impala left after the incident. Officers believe Smart might have details of this incident.
