1 Hurt in Yakima Bicycle Crash on Highway 821
YAKIMA, WA (October 28, 2020) – Monday night, Patrick St. Martin suffered injuries in a bicycle accident on Highway 821.
The incident happened at around 9:30 p.m., southbound on State Route 821, a mile east of Selah. According to reports, 56-year-old Patrick St. Martin rode his bike south on the freeway. Meanwhile, a driver traveled north on SR 821 towards the onramp for Interstate 82.
The vehicle driver struck St. Martin and then fled the scene.
Moreover, the authorities confirmed that the patient didn’t wear a helmet during the crash. Responders transported him to the hospital.
