2 Injured in Bakersfield Single-Vehicle Accident on Hughes Lane
BAKERSFIELD, CA (April 10, 2022) – Last April 3, a DUI crash on Hughes Lane in Bakersfield involved 25-year-old Patrick Matsuda.
The crash happened on April 3rd in the 6500 block of Hughes Lane.
According to reports, Matsuda drank beer and two shots of Patron tequila. Then, he rode an off-road vehicle.
Eventually, Patrick Matsuda struck a curb while attempting to make a turn in the 6500 block of Hughes Lane.
Then, the force of the crash ejected Matsuda and a passenger.
As a result, the passenger sustained scrapes and a possible head injury. Meanwhile, police found Patrick Matsuda unconscious at the scene.
As of Friday, the authorities haven’t charged Matsuda in connection with the crash.
