1 Dead in Parkland Hit-and-Run Crash
PARKLAND, WA (December 11, 2019) – A 69-year-old woman died in a hit-and-run crash on 138th Street on December 7.
The Pierce County Sheriff’s Office is currently looking for the white van driver who escaped after hitting and killing Patricia Williamson who drove a Ford Escape.
According to officials, the incident occurred near 138th Street South and Yakima Avenue just before 9:00 p.m.
Authorities added that the suspect moved items from the crashed van, a 1996 Ford Econoline, into a smaller van. According to police, this happened within eight minutes of the collision. After that, he headed to 138th Street.
The police are now investigating the crash. In addition, they encourage anyone to send in any surveillance video or any valuable information regarding the crash.
