1 Person Dead in Irwindale Pedestrian Accident on Live Oak Avenue and Speedway Drive
IRWINDALE, CA (February 2, 2023) – Tuesday night, authorities arrested Patricia Lopez after a fatal pedestrian crash on Live Oak Avenue and Speedway Drive.
The incident happened at around 9:24 p.m. at the intersection of Live Oak Avenue and Speedway Drive.
According to reports, an eastbound vehicle struck a male pedestrian and then fled the scene without stopping.
Moreover, paramedics pronounced the pedestrian, dead at the scene.
Furthermore, officers managed to locate and arrest the suspect, 50-year-old Patricia Lopez, on Wednesday morning. Authorities booked Lopez at the West Covina City Jail on vehicular manslaughter and felony hit-and-run charges.
