1 Hurt in Gorman Multi-Vehicle Accident on Interstate 5
GORMAN, CA (July 25, 2021) – Saturday afternoon, a helicopter airlifted a patient after a 4-vehicle crash on Interstate 5.
According to reports, the multi-vehicle crash happened just before noon. Also, the incident briefly shut down both directions of Interstate 5.
The helicopter arrived at the local hospital at 12:47 p.m. According to the Fire Department, the crash left three patients that require medical attention.
Meanwhile, CHP Officer Stephan Brandt said that they shut down Interstate 5 at about 12:30 p.m. Then, the closure lasted for around ten minutes.
Also, upon airlifting the patient, the traffic moved slowly even though CHP didn’t close any lanes or ramps.
