US 395 Collision Results in Injuries

Kennewick, WA (May 28, 2024) – Two people were injured following a hit-and-run crash on Clearwater Avenue early Monday morning.

The traffic collision happened before 4 a.m. at the intersection with US 395. 

Officers said the car ran the red light on Clearwater Avenue and struck a big rig at the intersection.

The car driver took off running leaving their two passengers suffering from serious injuries. The passengers were transported to an area hospital.

Moreover, investigators said the car involved in the collision was reported stolen out of Mattawa. Troopers are searching for the driver.
