NTSB Investigates Learjet 36 Crash

Coronado, CA (September 10, 2022) – On Friday, two plane occupants were transported to a hospital after a Learjet 36 crashed on a beach.

The Navy says that it was about 1:15 p.m. when the plane misses the runway at North Island Naval Air Station.

Apparently, the aircraft took off at 12:22 p.m. before returning to North Island wherein the flight lasted for about 55 minutes.

The responding rescuers took the two plane occupants to a hospital as a precaution. Luckily, neither of them sustained major injuries.

In the meantime, FAA and NTSB are investigating the Learjet 36 crash.
