Passenger Killed in Solo-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 280 [Burlingame, CA]

Burlingame, CA (February 2, 2024) – A passenger was killed and others were injured following a solo-vehicle crash on Interstate 280 Thursday morning.

It was about 6:40 a.m. when the traffic accident happened south of Trousdale Drive.

According to the investigators, a gray Honda sedan carrying multiple passengers swerved and the driver overcorrected. The vehicle went down an embankment and struck a tree.

Sadly, troopers confirmed that a person was killed in this collision and other passengers were transported to a hospital.

Police closed one lane of the freeway while they investigated this fatal crash.
