Passenger Killed in Rollover Crash on 101 Highway [King City, CA]

King City, CA (September 24, 2021) – On Thursday, an 18-year old passenger died, and the 29-year-old driver suffered injuries in a rollover crash on 101 Highway. 

Investigating officers said a Toyota Tundra driver was northbound on the roadway near Arroyo Seco Road . Apparently, the vehicle was traveling at the state speed limit of 70-75 miles per hour. Officers said the driver and the passenger were both from Greenfield.

Officers said the driver made an unsafe turn.  The vehicle spun clockwise sending the car off the road. Then, it crashed through a wired fence into an agricultural field. 

Unfortunately, the passenger died at the crash scene. 

The driver sustained injuries to her left arm and neck. 

The authorities do not consider drugs or alcohol as a contributing fact to the accident.
