Passenger Killed in Interstate 80 Collision [Vacaville, CA]

Vacaville, CA (January 2, 2023) – A person sustained fatal injuries following an Interstate 80 collision Sunday.

The fatal rollover collision unfolded on New Year’s Eve on the westbound freeway near the Cherry Glen Road off-ramp.

Officers said a Dodge Durango traveling at a high speed overturned and killed its passenger.

Immediately, the emergency rescuers transported the driver to a hospital. Officers said they would be tested for DUI.

This collision is under investigation.
