1 Dead and 1 Injured in Fresno Auto Accident on Highway 41 and O Street
FRESNO, CA (August 22, 2021) – Saturday afternoon, a passenger died in a car crash on Highway 41 and O Street.
According to reports, a car traveled south on Highway 41 at about 2:00 p.m. Then, it veered towards O Street off-ramp.
Afterward, the vehicle crashed into a tree and started catching fire.
Immediately after the crash, an officer came and pulled out the unconscious driver from the car. Then, an ambulance crew freed the passenger out.
Responders took both occupants to the hospital. However, the passenger succumbed to injuries. Meanwhile, the driver remained in critical condition.
At this time, the authorities haven’t identified the cause of the crash. However, officials confirmed that alcohol and drugs didn’t play a role in the crash.
