SACRAMENTO, CA (April 26, 2022) – Monday morning, a 34-year-old female passenger died in a crash on State Route 160 and Poverty Road.
 
The incident happened at about 2:39 a.m. on southbound State Route 160, north of Poverty Road.
 
According to reports, a Ford F-150 crashed into a tree. As a result, the 51-year-old male driver suffered no injuries.
 
Meanwhile, the driver revealed that he spotted an animal on the road while driving on State Route 160. Thus, he steered the Ford and fell down an embankment where he hit a tree.
 
After the crash, the 34-year-old female passenger succumbed to her injuries in the crash.
 
Moreover, officers confirmed that the man didn’t show signs of impairment or intoxication.
