BAKER, CA (January 5, 2023) – Saturday afternoon, a 65-year-old passenger died in a single-vehicle crash in Dumont Dunes OHV area.
 
The incident occurred at around 3:38 p.m. in Dumont Dunes OHV area.
 
When the CHP officers arrived, they confirmed that a 66-year-old Anderson man drove a 2021 Honda Talon. Also, a 65-year-old Hollister man rode as a passenger with him.
 
Then, the Honda went down a sand embankment and overturned.
 
Then, emergency medical personnel came to the scene and declared the passenger dead at the scene.
 
Meanwhile, responders transported the driver to University Medical Center in Las Vegas with major injuries.
 
At this time, the San Bernardino County Sheriff-Coroner’s Division hasn’t disclosed the identity of the deceased.
 
Due to the limited information available, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
