1 Dead and 1 Injured in El Cajon Auto Crash on Chase Avenue
EL CAJON, CA (June 10, 2020) – On Sunday morning, a car accident on Chase Avenue in El Cajon killed a passenger.
According to reports, the driver of the vehicle steered off the road and hit a light pole. The police added that the driver possibly drove at a high-speed west on Chase Avenue. Thus, the vehicle struck the pole near Wilson Avenue.
When the police arrived at the scene, they declared the male victim dead on site. Moreover, the police and firefighters responded at around 6:45 a.m. on Chase Avenue and Wilson Avenue.
The firefighters extracted the driver from the car. After treatment at the scene, they transported him to a local hospital. At this time, the condition of the driver remains unknown.
