Female Passenger Killed in Big Rig Crash on Interstate 15 [Cajon Pass, CA]

Fiery Crash in Cajon Pass Results in Fatality

Cajon Pass, CA (April 22, 2023) – On Friday, a female passenger lost her life following a big rig crash on Interstate 15.

The traffic accident happened at about 4:30 a.m. about one mile after the Highway 138 exit.

Investigating officers said gray Chevy pickup truck was northbound when its driver rear-ended a big rig semi-trailer full of sand.

The pickup truck caught on fire and a passenger it was located dead after the fire department put out the fire. The pickup truck driver was not seriously serious injured. 

Officers said the big rig driver was not injured in the collision.

The authorities are investigating the fatal incident.
