1 Dead in Modesto Two-Vehicle Crash on Bentley Road and Kemper Road

 
MODESTO, CA (November 29, 2021) – Sunday afternoon, a male passenger died in an auto accident on Bentley Road and Kemper Road.
 
The incident involving a Toyota sedan and a Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck happened at about 3:55 p.m. Moreover, it occurred on Bentley Road and Kemper Road.
 
According to the preliminary investigation, an adult male truck driver and a couple of young children headed north on Bentley. Meanwhile, the Toyota headed south. To approach Kemper Road, the Toyota driver turned left into the truck’s path.
 
As a result, the truck hit the passenger side of the sedan. Then, the man riding in the front seat died.
 
Moreover, the Toyota driver sustained injuries and responders airlifted the driver to Memorial Medical Center.
 
Meanwhile, the Silverado’s driver and passengers sustained minor injuries. However, they didn’t require hospitalization.
 
“What’s telling is there are no skids or anything coming up just south of the impact,” CHP Sgt. Roberto Iniguez said. “So the guy (driving the pickup) didn’t have time to react. It looks like, or didn’t notice her turning.”
 
The authorities continue to investigate the crash.
