Drivers Injured in Uptown County Deadly Crash
Uptown County, TX (November 23, 2024) – Passenger Jacob Campos, 24, was killed in a US 385 collision Thursday morning.
It was around 7:45 a.m when a 2016 Ford F-150 driven by Fernando Bosquez, 24, with passenger Jacob Campos, was traveling south on the highway.
Their vehicle collided with a 2024 Ram 2500 driven by Angel Banuelos, 32, in the northbound lanes.
Bosquez sustained serious condition and Banuelos was also injured but in stable condition. Responding medical team rushed both drivers to Odessa Medical Center.
Jacob Campos was transported to McCamey Hospital where he died. Officers said he was not wearing a seatbelt during the collision.
Investigators said both drivers were wearing their seatbelts.
Officers are investigating this fatal collision.
