Passenger Critically Injured in Loop 1604 Deadly Collision [San Antonio, TX]

San Antonio, TX (July 18, 2024) – A passenger believed to be in his 30s or 40s was critically injured in a Loop 1604 deadly collision Thursday afternoon.

The fatal crash happened at 12:20 p.m. between Judson Road and O’Connor Road.

As a result, the driver lost control of the vehicle and it struck a sign and flipped over. 

The driver, believed to be in his 30s or 40s, was declared deceased at the scene. His passenger was transported to an area hospital in critical condition. 

The westbound lanes of the loop have been closed while the authorities investigate.
