Douglas County, CA (July 25, 2022) – On July 23, at about 10 p.m., a passenger sustained injuries in a hit-and-run crash on US 97.

According to the investigators, a northbound car turned right off a side street and collided with a southbound car.

The authorities say both drivers fled on foot and left one passenger with minor injuries. 

Officers say the passenger refused transport to a hospital.

Moreover, the authorities say some drivers flee traffic incidents due to no auto insurance, suspended license, or due to possible outstanding warrants.

They added that neither of the vehicles was stolen.

In the meantime, officers are investigating the hit-and-run crash in Douglas County.
