Passenger Injured in Fiery Crash on La Loma Drive [Tustin, CA]

Tustin, CA (May 8, 2022) – On Friday, at 2 a.m., a female passenger sustained injuries while the authorities arrested the driver in a fiery crash on La Loma Drive.

Officers say the vehicle appeared to be traveling at a fast speed when the collision happened. It jumped a curb, struck a mailbox, turned upside down, and plowed into the front corner of a Tustin home.

A young woman and her nearly 90-year-old grandmother reside in the house. Luckily, neither of them was seriously hurt in the accident.

“We immediately began extinguishing the vehicle fire and checking for occupants both in the vehicle and in the house,” he said.

Later on, the authorities arrested the man who was in the car while the paramedics took the woman to the hospital with non-serious injuries.
