9 People Displaced after Car Crashes into Townhouse on Crabapple Way in San Jose

San Jose, CA (September 22, 2022) – Early Thursday morning, a passenger sustained injuries when their vehicle crashed on Crabapple Way.

The crash in San Jose happened at around 1:45 a.m. on September 22.

San Jose Police said they found the unoccupied vehicle in the 500 block of Crabapple Way that had crashed into a townhouse in the Seven Trees Village complex.

Police arrested the driver on suspicion of DUI. EMS took the passenger to a hospital with minor injuries.

The crash displaced nine people from their homes and no one sustained injuries. 

Meanwhile, the vehicle was safely extracted from the building.

Further investigation into this crash is underway.
