1 Hurt in Irvine Auto Accident on Kilwinning Road near Carrick Drive
IRVINE, CA (September 22, 2021) – Last week, a passenger sustained injuries in a bus crash on Kilwinning Road near Carrick Drive.
The incident occurred at about 4:00 p.m. on September 14. According to reports, a yellow Shuttle Bus traveled towards Kilwinning Road, near Carrick Drive. Then, a car in front of the bus suddenly made a U-turn without warning. Thus, the bus driver made an emergency brake.
As a result, a 72-year-old female passenger of the bus was ejected from her seat. Furthermore, she suffered a serious injury to her forehead and required hospitalization.
“This has been a traumatic incident for the injured passenger. And we are grateful to the other passengers who provided immediate first aid and reassurance to her,” said PC Terry of Irvine Police Office.
