Female Passenger Hurt in Horrific 2-Vehicle Crash on I-15 [Cajon Pass, CA]

Cajon Pass, CA (October 4, 2024) On Tuesday evening, a woman was hurt after a disastrous 2-vehicle crash on I-15.

According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the horrific crash happened at about 6 p.m. on northbound Interstate 15, about a mile past the Kenwood Avenue exit.

Reports say that a driver lost control of a black Toyota Camry and rolled over multiple times after colliding with a semi-truck in Cajon Pass.

Authorities say the male driver of the Toyota abruptly changed lanes, clipping the semi while speeding. This caused the car to hit a dirt embankment and roll over several times, eventually landing on its roof with two occupants inside.

Officials say that the driver and a female passenger were initially trapped, with the driver’s feet seen hanging out of the window.

Fortunately, both managed to free themselves from the wreckage. They sustained only minor injuries at the scene.

The semi-truck driver was uninjured. The CHP’s Inland Office is investigating the crash, with further details to be released once the preliminary report is available.
