44-Year-Old Passenger Hurt in Fatal Car Crash on Highway 67 [Madison County, MO]

Madison County, MO (December 18, 2024) On Monday morning, a 44-year-old passenger from Bloomington was hurt in a car Crash on Highway 67 that killed a 43-year-old St. Louis man.

According to authorities, the deadly crash happened at about 2:42 a.m. on US 67, three miles south of Fredericktown.

Reports say that the fatal crash left one man dead and another injured when a vehicle veered off the road and overturned.

Authorities say that the 43-year-old man was driving a 2023 Nissan Rogue northbound on US 67 when the car went off the right side of the road and overturned.

The Madison County Coroner pronounced the male driver dead at the scene. A 44-year-old passenger from Bloomington, Minnesota, sustained moderate injuries. Neither occupant was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.

This incident marks the 68th traffic-related fatality in southeast Missouri in 2024.
