Passenger Donald Cramer Killed in DUI Crash on Appian Way [El Sobrante, CA]

El Sobrante, CA (August 21, 2024) – Donald Cramer, 63, of El Sobrante, was killed in a DUI crash on Appian Way Thursday afternoon.

It was about 1:15 p.m. when the fatal crash happened west of La Paloma Road.

Investigators said an eastbound white Chevrolet Astro Van was speeding past other cars toward the intersection at La Paloma Road. The van then sideswiped three vehicles and struck a trailer, all of the struck vehicles were parked on the right shoulder.

The van rested on its left side before it stopped. 

Sadly, the passenger, Donald Cramer, was killed at the scene.

The driver was transported to a hospital in an ambulance and was later arrested on suspicion of DUI.
