Passenger Dies in San Pablo Dam Road Head-On Crash [Orinda, CA]

Orinda, CA (October 04, 2021) – On October 02, a passenger dies, while others suffered injuries in San Pablo Dam Road head-on crash.

The fatal crash took place at about 11:15 a.m. near El Sobrante.

Investigating officers said that a red Toyota Tacoma with one occupant was northbound while a white Honda Civic with three occupants was southbound.

It appears that the Honda driver was driving on the shoulder to pass traffic.

Unfortunately, the driver lost control of the vehicle and crossed into the northbound lane subsequently collided with the Toyota. 

The Honda driver sustained major injuries while the right front passenger incurred minor injuries.

However, the authorities pronounced the left rear passenger dead at the scene. 

On the other hand, the Toyota driver was able to walk away with minor injuries. 

Meanwhile, officers are still investigating this crash.
