Passenger Dies in Rollover Crash on Harris Road [Bakersfield, CA]

Bakersfield, CA (January 30, 2022) – On Sunday, a passenger sustained fatal injuries in a rollover crash on Harris Road.

Officers responded to the crash scene at 12:08 a.m. at the intersection with Buena Vista Road wherein one of the two involved vehicles was stolen.

Apparently, the involved vehicles were a dark blue BMW SUV and a dark-colored vehicle that rested against a wall just off the intersection.

A stolen vehicle crossed a red light at the intersection and crashed with another vehicle. 

The stolen vehicle rolled over and killed the male passenger inside. 

Then, the paramedics rushed the driver to a nearby hospital with moderate injuries.

Moreover, the passengers in the second vehicle did not suffer injuries from the collision.
