Ramon Arredondo’s Passenger Died, Another Injured in San Bernardino Vehicle Crash
San Bernardino, CA (October 2, 2020) – On Thursday, a 32-year-old passenger died while the 35-year-old Ramon Arredondo of San Bernardino was involved in a vehicle crash on Baseline Street.
The fatal crash happened at about 1:40 p.m. west of University Avenue.
San Bernardino Police Department said Arredondo of San Bernardino was driving westbound on Baseline Street at a fast speed when he crashed into a street sweeper ahead of him.
Moreover, the investigators said that drugs, and Arredondo’s driving speed, were factors in the crash.
Meanwhile, the 52-year-old Robert Black of Upland was driving 3 mph westbound on Baseline Street while spraying and sweeping the curb line when Arredondo’s SUV rear-ended him.
Furthermore, Arredondo was driving too fast. He was unable to stop before striking Black’s street sweeper, the police arrested.
Arredondo’s front vehicle passenger was killed, while he and two other passengers suffered non-fatal injuries.
The authorities transported them to an emergency room.
