Passenger Dies in DUI Crash in Avenue 450 [Orange Cove, CA]

Orange Cove, CA (February 28, 2022) On Monday, an unidentified passenger died in a DUI Crash on Avenue 450.

The California Highway Patrol (CHP) says that the fatal accident occurred around 2:00 a.m. near the Avenue 450 and Road 132 intersection.

The CHP says that 20-year-old Yesenia Corona from Dinuba failed to negotiate a curve and went off the roadway and flipped into a dry canal.

Corona was injured and rescuers took her to an area hospital.

Meanwhile, a passenger in her car died in the crash.

Moreover, “beer bottles and drug paraphernalia were located in and about” the wreckage, according to the CHP reports.

Authorities arrested Corona on suspicion of driving under the influence.
