EL CAJON, CA (September 13, 2022) – Monday morning, a passenger died and a driver sustained injuries in a pickup truck crash on Greenfield Drive.
 
According to the El Cajon Police, the incident happened at around 2:00 a.m. Also, the collision occurred in the 1500 block of Greenfield Drive.
 
Reports revealed that a westbound 2020 black Chevrolet Silverado truck lost control for still unknown reasons. Then, it struck a retaining wall and a power pole in front of a residential house.
 
Moreover, responders said that the vehicle driver managed to extricate herself from the vehicle. However, a male passenger was trapped inside.
 
Then, firefighters rushed to the scene and extricated the passenger. Also, authorities transported the 37-year-old female driver and her 45-year-old male passenger to a hospital. Eventually, authorities declared the passenger dead at the scene.
