Deadly Pedestrian Crash on 210 Freeway in San Bernardino
SAN BERNARDINO, CA (May 29, 2019) – A 57-year-old Pasadena man was fatally ran over by a tractor-trailer Wednesday morning in San Bernardino.
The fatal crash happened around 11:26 a.m. on eastbound 210 Freeway at Highland Avenue off-ramp.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the man was on the freeway for unknown reasons. As he went to pick something up, he fell backward into the tractor trailer.
The truck’s left rear tires ran him over. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The name of the victim has not yet been released but CHP believes he was homeless.
