Party Bus Driver Injured in Pedestrian Accident on 14 Freeway [Santa Clarita, CA]

Santa Clarita, CA (August 13, 2022) – On Friday, at around 9:40 p.m., a party bus driver sustained injuries in a pedestrian accident on 14 Freeway.

Immediately, the rescuers responded to the accident scene at Agua Dulce Canyon Road off-ramp.

“It came in as an auto versus a pedestrian involving a bus,” said Supervisor Chavez with the Los Angeles County Fire Department. “One person was transported.”

According to the officers, a party bus has overheated and pulled over on the roadside. Then, the driver had exited the vehicle but was struck by a passing black Nissan Sentra.

The Nissan’s driver remained at the accident scene. 

Responding officers say the bus driver was awake upon when they arrived but “felt like he was going to pass out.”

Right away, the paramedics rushed the victim to a hospital at about 10:10 p.m. 

In the meantime, officers are investigating the cause of the Agua Dulce Canyon crash.
