Pamela Smith Dead after Los Angeles Hit-and-Run Crash on Manchester Avenue
LOS ANGELES, CA (June 24, 2019) – Officials identified the 59-year-old woman killed in a hit-and-run crash in Los Angeles as Pamela Smith.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the crash happened at around 9:30 p.m. June 10 at the intersection of Manchester Avenue at Cimarron Street.
A light, possibly silver, Jeep Commander traveled west on Manchester Avenue. Then it struck a pedestrian walking north in an unmarked crosswalk. The driver did not stop and fled after the incident, police stated.
The Los Angeles Fire Department rushed to the collision and transported the victim to a hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries.
However, police did not released many details about why the pedestrian was in the road. In addition, officials still do not know where the hit-and-run vehicle is at this time.
