1 Dead and 3 Injured in Traffic Collision near Panama Lane
BAKERSFIELD, CA (October 29, 2018) – A man was killed early Monday morning following a two-vehicle crash near Panama Lane. The victim was later identified as 28-year-old Pablo Villareal Garcia, a resident of Shafter.
As per reports, the incident took place shortly after midnight. A white sedan, driven by the victim, was heading north on Highway 99 when it was struck by an eastbound black coupe.
Garcia suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency responders. Meanwhile, his passenger was transported to a nearby hospital with major injuries. The driver and a passenger in the second vehicle were also hospitalized with minor injuries. Updates on their current medical condition were not available.
