To prevent jackknifing from happening, start with proper maintenance on your truck. Uneven brakes, worn out tired and faulty suspension components only add to the risk of you losing control of the truck. Always obey the speed limit and be aware of your surroundings. And if you get involved in a collision, do not flee the scene. It is required by state law to stop your vehicle and call the police, identify and talk to witnesses, and check on other drivers and passengers.
