Oscar Melgarejo of Adelanto Fatally Struck on Air Expressway [Adelanto, CA]

Adelanto, CA (September 5, 2022) – On Saturday, 33-year-old Oscar Melgarejo of Adelanto sustained fatal injuries in an accident on Air Expressway involving 22-year-old Dallas Looney of Victorville.

According to the authorities, Oscar Melgarejo was hit by a Nissan Frontier driven by Dallas Looney while crossing west in the westbound #2 lane.

Sadly, Oscar Melgarejo succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

Meanwhile, Dallas Looney remained at the accident scene and cooperated with the authorities. 

Officers say they do not believe alcohol or drugs were factors in the accident.
