Oscar Mancillas Jr. Killed in Riverside Pedestrian Accident on Redlands and Alessandro Boulevard

RIVERSIDE, CA (August 13, 2023) – Saturday morning, it was revealed that Oscar Mancillas Jr., 23, a hit-and-run crash on Redlands and Alessandro Boulevard.

The incident happened at around 6:26 a.m. on Redlands and Alessandro Boulevard.

According to sheriff’s Sgt. M. Martinez, a vehicle lost control after completing a beer run and struck a pedestrian. Then, three occupants of the vehicle fled the scene on foot after the collision.

Moreover, responders transported the pedestrian to a hospital with unknown injuries.

Furthermore, officers managed to locate and arrest the vehicle driver, 19-year-old Neftali Larios for felony hit-and-run and DUI and his passenger, 20-year-old Jose Rios with an outstanding warrant. The third occupant of the vehicle remained at large.

At this time, the cause of the crash remained unclear. When additional information became available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the authorities continued to investigate the fatal crash.
