Dealing With Fatal Pedestrian Accidents
In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, more individuals are staying at home, whether by preference or under a state-mandated lockdown. As people adjust to unprecedented routines, a classic concept has risen in modern popularity: walking. Americans, as well as others around the world, have taken it upon themselves to walk outside daily. Taking walks is usually the only time in which people are spending outside. The increase of foot traffic on local sidewalks, intersections, and roads seems harmless enough. However, this timeless habit can have devastating consequences. Taking walks is becoming increasingly dangerous, leading to a surge of pedestrian accidents annually.
