Motorcycle and Sedan Collide on Highway 24 in Orinda, Injuries Reported
ORINDA, CA (March 21, 2019) – A rider was injured following a traffic collision Thursday morning on Highway 24 in Orinda.
The collision happened around 7:34 p.m. along the westbound lanes of Highway 24 at St. Stephens Drive.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a motorcycle and a red Honda Accord collided, sending the rider down on the first lane.
An ambulance unit was dispatched to the scene and took the rider to John Muir Medial Center with a broken leg.
The motorcycle was towed away from the crash site.
No information was provided if the car’s driver remained or fled after the crash. It is also unknown whether any charges were filed and liability has not yet been determined.
